Dancing in a Global Pandemic

Cost

Members: Contributions Accepted
Non-Members: $50.00 USD per

Description:

This webinar is based on The Delicate Dance - a workshop planned for the IOA 2020 Annual Conference. The Delicate Dance is the balance organizational ombuds must strike to be effective in meeting their multiple responsibilities to their constituents* while practicing according to the IOA Standards of Practice. We created a model to help evaluate, strategize, and choreograph the delicate dances Ombuds frequently share or lead. For the purposes of this webinar, we will focus exclusively on dancing in a global pandemic. During the full workshop, which we hope to deliver at the next annual conference, participants will have the opportunity to apply the model to their unique challenges. We look forward to you joining our webinar and hopefully also at next year’s conference. *Employees, management, students, customers, the public, the organization, etc.

Bill was Chair of the Coalition of Federal Ombudsman. He is a current Member of IOA’s CO-OP® Recertification Committee, and was an IOA Mentor. For six years, Bill presided as Vice President of the Board of Directors for a private non-profit community mediation center.
