They will leave the session with actionable strategies, informed by interdisciplinary research, to enhance the value and impact of their work. Specifically, participants will workshop their communication about who they are as individual practitioners with unique values, backgrounds, interests, skills, and experience (including biases and other limitations); where they are as organizational ombuds, accounting for the culture, values, and priorities of their specific organization and communication partners (visitors, leaders, and other offices); and what they do as ombuds, to maximize the potential of their ombuds “superpowers.” The webinar is intended for organizational ombuds in all settings and phases of practice, including aspiring ombuds.
